Local men created the pitch in the 1930's.
The playing pitch was hewn out of the limestone deposits by local men during the depression in the 1930's - hence the name "White Tips". Find out more about the history of Treforest FC by visiting the History page.

Of course since then it has been significantly upgraded to match the impressive Clubhouse and infrastructure built since 1989. The current infrastructure, includes spectator barriers, car park, stand and floodlights.
The Clubhouse itself has 2 bars, 4 changing rooms, a kitchen and board room. The record attendance for the ground is 455 for an "Amateur" League Cup Final; with the best attendance for a "League" match in recent times being 233 on Friday 22nd August 2003 for the visit of Graig Metals.

The impressive facilities have prompted visits from West Bromwich Albion, Coventry City, Preston North End and Bristol Rovers during their pre season "play off" matches in Cardiff during the last few years.
